As the summer season approaches, many of us are thinking of vacations.  Vacation from work, from school, whatever it might be - we're looking forward to a summer break!

But there is no summer break for the homeless.  Faith Mission serves as many hungry men and women during the summer months as they do during the other months of the year.  And at a time when donations are typically at their lowest.

That's why we're asking you to make this a Summer of Hope for the homeless of the Columbus area.  For a donation of $41 you can feed and care for 20 people at Faith Mission.  If you can pledge to give $41 each month for three months, you can provide a Summer of Hope for 60 hungry people.

I hope that you and your family have a blessed summer.  Thank you for remembering that homelessness and poverty do not take a summer break.
