It happens every year here at Faith Mission. Something truly wonderful. A transformation of hearts and souls. And it begins when caring people like you reach out to help us provide hot meals for hurting men and women during the Easter season.

Our Easter meals are simple, really. But served with love and compassion, they can become the first step toward a life filled with new hope for people in desperate need.

Let me share with you about a man I'll call Paul. Walking through the doors of the Mission was difficult for the 63-year-old. He'd been a hard worker all his life and was used to being independent. But health issues had finally taken their toll and Paul was no longer able to work. It wasn't long until the money ran out and he found himself on the streets. That's when he turned to the Mission...

"That first night, they took me in and made me feel right at home... like I belonged," Paul says. Paul was welcomed with a hot meal, a warm bed and a refreshing shower. But he received more than just physical help in the days that followed.

"Through the teaching at the Mission, I realized my need to give my life back to God," Paul says. "Now, life is good and I am growing in my faith each and every day."
